Under the banner of "You Think," Al Hub Wa Al Salam Organization orchestrated bazaars in various areas across Iraq, including Fallujah, Hit, Qaim, and Al-Aadhamiya, to shed light on and combat gender-based violence. The initiative aimed at raising awareness and actively addressing this pressing issue. The bazaars gathered a multitude of women, supported by civil activists, officials, and local residents, all determined to make a positive impact.
The event showcased a diverse range of handcrafted works and intricately designed artworks, all the fruits of the women participants' labor. The participants demonstrated their resilience and creativity through these creations, each piece echoing their individual perspectives and emotions.
A lively competition segment added an element of engagement and interaction among the participants. Prizes were awarded to the winners, recognizing their contributions and imaginative spirits.
This endeavor falls within the framework of the Al Hub Wa Al Salam Iraqi organization's persistent efforts to counter violence against women, fostering a culture of equality and human rights respect. The activity was made possible through funding from Oxfam, as part of the "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" campaign.
