Economic Empowerment of Women in Iraq: "Women's Voices First" Project Events

In the context of the "Women's Voices First" project, the Iraqi Al Hub Wa Al Salam Organization, with the support of Cordaid, conducted a series of awareness sessions in Al-Qaim District, the farthest part of Anbar Governorate, and Fallujah District. These sessions aim to educate women and men about the economic development of women and ways to support them in the job market. Additionally, they seek to create livelihood opportunities through training and increase awareness about the role of those in authority in society and local communities. These sessions saw the active participation of numerous women, young people, and men of various ages.

The "Women's Voices First Project" is a noble initiative executed by the Iraqi Al Hub Wa Al Salam Organization with generous support from "Cordaid," aiming to achieve economic empowerment for women in Iraq. This project responds to the challenges that women face in their communities, working to redirect efforts toward enhancing women's role in the economy and providing new opportunities to improve their lives and those of their families.

This project was implemented in various regions of Iraq, including Al-Qaim District in Anbar Governorate and Fallujah District. A series of awareness sessions were conducted with the goal of transferring the knowledge and skills necessary for women's economic empowerment.
